Creating Jobs and Protecting the Environment
We need your help to save Maryland jobs in the state budget. Every dollar Maryland invests in protecting our environment saves good jobs today and creates more good jobs tomorrow. To protect our air, land, water, people, AND jobs, we must stop the cutting environmental funds and the dismantling of our state environmental agencies.

Create Jobs and Protect the Environment
Dear Delegate,
For years Maryland has been a leader in creating conservation programs that protect the environment and provide added benefit to communities in the form of jobs and economic investment. I urge you to continue to demonstrate that we can protect the environment and create jobs at the same time.
Please support the Governor's budget and his allocations for Program Open Space, Chesapeake Bay Trust Fund, and the Strategic Energy Investment Program. We also urge you to reject funding restrictions to the University of Maryland Environmental Law Clinic.
